Happy Birthday Cara!
The many faces of Cara Delevingne
With five British Vogue covers under her belt, 32 million Instagram followers and a role in this summer’s most talked about film Suicide Squad, it’s hard to believe that Cara Delevingne is turning just 24 years old this Friday. A rebellious soul, Cara is no doubt best known for not taking herself too seriously and displaying her emotions in a range of crazy facial expressions. So, to celebrate her birthday we decided to recap some of her most memorable faces from her ever successful career. She has to be one of the only people in the world able to make gurning look chic!
Cara The Model
Although she’s recently stepped out of the modeling limeline, it was fashion shoots and runway shows that made Cara a household name. Discovered by the same Storm Model Management CEO who scouted Kate Moss, she found fame after Burberry cast her in their 2011 campaign alongside actor Eddie Redmayne. Shortly after, everyone wanted their very own piece of Cara and those unmistakable eyebrows. Over the years, Delevingne has shot campaigns for H&M, Blumarine, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Victoria’s Secret, Fendi and Stella McCartney to name a few. The life of the party, Cara is often snapped rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jourdan Dunn (with whom she has a matching double D tattoo), Rihanna and one of her most beloved friends and co-worker, Karl Lagerfeld. Delevingne also made a name for herself with her unmistakable tomboy style and is often spotted sporting wearing hoodies, women's Replay jeans, beanie hats and Puma high top trainers.
Cara the actress
In spite of her modest foray into acting in Anna Karenina (blink and you’ll miss her!) Cara managed to quickly work her way up becoming a focal character of last year’s tearjerker Paper Towns. Now she’s gone supermodel to super-villain in this summer’s dark blockbuster Suicide Squad.
