Fashionable Toys
For the kid that's got everything
If your tot is a little like North West and is more into baby Dior than Fisher-Price you’ll be struggling to come up with Christmas presents right about now. If Hatchimals won’t cut it look no further than our fashion toys including the likes of Gigi & Zayn Barbies, Fendies and Chanel Bots! Ok ok so we didn’t really create these toys but boy do we wish they existed… check out our playful selection of toys reworked with a stylish twist.
Lego x Celine Luggage Tote
Ah Lego… the ultimate nostalgic toy had to be included in our list. You can use those bright colourful blocks to make just about anything these days from Star Wars spaceships to Disney’s Frozen castle. And this classic toy has already inspired some fashion collections including Balenciaga’s 2007 famous lego heels which were worn by Beyonce at the AMA’s. And more recently, Chanel released a Lego clutch bag retailing at £5,000! Therefore we couldn’t resist turning the Celine Luggage tote bag into a Lego creation, we think this would be the perfect present for mini fashionistas this Christmas!
Kylie Jenner Makeup Doll
Kylie Jenner is undoubtedly the queen of makeup with her hugely successful beauty empire expanding from its initial lip kits to launching a full retail store and range of eyeliners and ‘Kyshadows’. So it only made sense to turn Kylie into a makeover doll (don’t deny… we all had one!) where you could have a go at transforming her look with her signature lip kits. We need one!
Barbie and Ken Become Gigi and Zayn
Supermodel Gigi Hadid and pop star Zayn are the darlings of Hollywood and make the most perfect couple. After meeting on the set of Zayn’s music video ‘Pillowtalk’ in early 2016 the pair have become the ultimate fashion couple so why not transform them into the ultimate toy couple Barbie & Ken?! This will go straight to the top of Christmas wishlists! Channel Gigi's red carpet style for yourself with Self Portrait dresses.
After Hitting The Runway,
Chanelbots Hit The Shelves
Chanel surprised everyone this autumn when Karl chose a ‘data center’ themed runway show at Paris Fashion Week which saw robots walk the runway! These stylish monochrome robots sported Chanel’s iconic tweed and so it seemed fitting to recreate them as dolls for kids! C’mon Mattel make our Chanelbot dreams come true!
The Victoria’s Secret Polly Pocket
Still not over the Victoria’s Secret fashion show? Yep, us either! We just wanted to relive that moment that the VS models walked down the runway at the Grand Palais so we decided to rework our favourite old school girly toy Polly Pocket as the Victoria’s Secret show! Make the models prepare for the show, give interviews and walk the runway! Mwah!
Introducing The Fendies
Furbies were a huge hit back in the day you were a nobody in the school playground without one of these furry creatures. Now marketed as connected toys, they still look quite like the ones we used to play with and are still popular with kids today. We couldn’t help but notice the resemblance to Frendi’s famous furry bag/key chain monsters and so the Fendies were born! We need these in our life and of course you'll need to pick up a Karl Lagerfeld handbag to match your Fendie!
